Granada's weather also makes it unique

Granada is a city of contrasts In many ways and unlike other similar capitals in the south of Spain such as Seville or Córdoba, it can go from below zero degrees Celsius to close to twenty in the same day.

This peculiar characteristic due to its geographical location, near the Playa and the mountain allows us to enjoy warm days in winter with lots of sunny days and cool nights in summer.

When to go to Granada

The best periods to visit Granada are the intermediate stations, in particular from mid-April to mid-May, and from mid-September to mid-October, to avoid the great summer heat. It is necessary to dress in layers because, due to the thermal oscillation, it can make cold at night and hot during the day.

Those who can stand the heat can also choose summer, but they must be prepared to walk around the city during the hot days. But even in the height of summer, a sweatshirt can come in handy for the evening. You should also bear in mind that both the Albaicín and the Sacromonte are cooler areas in summer.

Whether you choose to come in summer, spring, autumn or winter, keep in mind that all our classrooms and studios are acclimatized for hot and cold.
