An introduction to both the history of flamenco and the history of dance in particular, how and when the different styles emerged, with their main artists. This course will allow you to approach the complexity and mystery of this fascinating form of artistic expression. As interesting for those who want to deepen the study of flamenco as for those who are just beginning.

It consists of one hour from Monday to Friday and has a minimum duration of one week and a maximum of two weeks. There is a maximum of eight students per group. In order to participate it is necessary to have an intermediate level of Spanish (B1).

This course is divided into two one-week modules, each consisting of independent content. It is therefore possible to do any of its two thematic modules, in any order:

  • Block 1: History of Flamenco.
  • Block 2: History of Flamenco Dance

Each student will have access from the first day of class to a theoretical summary of the course content, as well as bibliographic recommendations to continue delving further into the topic.

The student who completes the two weeks will have a global vision of the entire history of flamenco, as well as the most representative styles and artists.



2019  public holidays: 28th February, 19 April, 1st May, 20th June, 1st November and 6th December.

There will be no class, but they are discounted from the final price.
