Macarena Mulero

Macarena was born on July 28, 1985 in Murcia and at the age of 5 she began her career in dance. In April 1998, she won second prize in the Ribarroja City Dance Contest, in Valencia. When she comes of age, she moves to live in Granada to continue training with teachers such as: María Guardia Gómez, better known as Mariquilla, Manuel Liñán, Juana Amaya...

In Granada, he works in the famous Sacromente neighborhood, in the Cueva de la Rocío, Cueva de los Tarantos, La Faraona… He also works in La Peña de La Platería. In August 2008, she won first prize at the XIII Torres de Cotillas Dance Festival (Murcia). In 2011 she moved to Barcelona and started dancing at El Palacio del Flamenco for five years, also working at the Los Tarantos tablao and the Carmen tablao. During the 6 years that she lives in Barcelona, ​​she teaches classes at the La Tati School of all levels, as well as at the Palacio del Flamenco. Apart from working as a soloist, she was a member of the Oleándole group, a Catalan group in which flamenco and jazz merge.

In 2017 he is a semifinalist at the Cante de las Minas de la Unión International Festival. She currently works in Granada at the tablao Albayzín, la Alboreá and tablao la Soleá.
