Nowadays the cajón has become an essential element within flamenco. It is very common to use it to mark the beat, in addition to clapping in any flamenco show. It is a wooden box that is touched with the palms and fingers of the hands, changing the sound depending on the place where it is hit.

The course will be taught by an experienced flamenco percussionist, with long experience in teaching cajón.

You will learn the basic techniques to be able to accompany some of the basic styles of flamenco, such as tangos, rumbas or bulerías.

You can learn basic rhythmic patterns for some styles, as well as inputs, outputs, closings... Depending on the level you choose, if you already know the basics, at the intermediate level you can also learn resources to accompany dance, guitar and singing. Depending on your progress you can take the beginner level for more than a week.
