      DESCRIPTION

During the Choreography classes, normally every two weeks, you will learn a different choreography for some of the most common flamenco styles. Depending on the level, some sticks or others are worked on. In the beginners section, tangos, alegrías, fandangos and bulerías are worked on. At the intermediate and advanced levels, dance por alegrías, soleá por bulerías, bulerías, jaleos, abandolaos, tientos, tangos, seguiriya, guajira, caña and farruca, among others, are usually studied. At the advanced level you can study any style, including soleá or taranto, among others.

Special importance is given to the study of the compás and the style of each style, its character and the way of executing each dance, as well as the relationship with the guitar and singing.

The choreography includes guitar accompaniment at all levels, as well as occasional singing accompaniment at intermediate and advanced levels.

Normally every two weeks there is a change of teacher. You can check the teachers and clubs scheduled for the coming months in scheduled courses. The teachers who teach the classes are professional dancers with experience in teaching flamenco dance at different levels. You can see many of them perform in nearby tablaos where they work.

It is advisable to combine the dance courses with the courses of learning about flamenco (compás, cante, structure and history).

Normally every two weeks, you can participate for free in the Flamenco Jam, directed by a dancer accompanied by a guitarist and a professional singer. This one-hour session is intended for dance and guitar students to put their knowledge into practice by working on improvisation, usually tangos or bulerías, in a more relaxed way.
