Andrés tries for flare and elegance in his dancing, instead of strength or speed.



Born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1976, he started dancing at the age of 10. His professional career starts by the hand of Angelita Gómez and continues in different company’s, directed by Manuel Morao, La Chunga, Carmen Cortés or Eva la Yerbabuena. He was awarded the Young Flamenco Interpreters award in 2000, and after that he toured multiple countries.

In 2004 he presents the first performance of his own, Peña, with which he tours several countries. In 2005 he won the Copa de Jerez award by the Chair of Flamencology. In Seville’s Bienal de Flamenco, in 2007, he premiered A fuego lento. He then participates in several editions of important festivals such as Festival de Jerez, Bienal de Sevilla or Festival de Música y Danza de Granada, as well as the most notable flamenco festivals that exist abroad. In 2016 he was awarded the public’s choice award in the Festival de Jerez for his performance Órdago a la grande. His didactic contribution to multiple schools, both nationally and internationally, is also of note.
