B.A. in German Philology at the University of Salamanca since 1997, he starts teaching ELE Spanish in 1998, joining the Carmen de las Cuevas team in 2004. He studied at the universities of Salamanca, Wurzburg and Alcala de Henares. A Spanish teacher by vocation, Jesús began to give classes at the age of 21 and has taught Spanish in Heidelberg, Salamanca, Malaga, Madrid, and Granada. He has continued his education with numerous postgraduate courses in the University of Alcala de Henares within the "Masters in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language" program.
At Carmen de las Cuevas, aside from teaching Spanish – usually for Advanced (level B2) and Superior (level C1-C2) Spanish – and organizing some of the instructional material for Advanced (level B2) and Upper Intermediate (B1), he has held the role of Head of Teaching since 2010. Jesús, along with other teachers at the school, also collaborates in the planning and instruction of the Teacher Training course. Combining his experience as teacher with his love for cinema he has designed the course "Teacher Training: Cinema in the Spanish class" . He also helps us out in the IT department with everything related to new technology. Motivated by a practical vision of the language applied in its everyday use, and taking well into account the individual interests of the students.
