Why engage a STUDY INSURANCE ?
Participating in a language course at a school is an exiting event. If you are going abroad for a few weeks, for several months, or even for a whole year, having good insurance will give you considerable peace of mind. One that will pay for all the necessary expenses which you could become liable for during your stay abroad.
This insurance pays medical expenses, extra traveling expenses to your home country, or for a close relative to visit you abroad in the case of emergency, and in a number of special cases, we will also pay the return journey from the language school, if you have to go home during your language course.
A language course is often quite expensive. Therefore, we will pay the proportional part of your course fees if you have to cut short your stay abroad due to an emergency.
Finally, we naturally also cover personal liability. There is also coverage for any damage you cause to goods of the language school, to library books and replacement of damaged locks
Your luggage is covered during your journey there and back. I you want, you can also expand your insurance to cover your luggage during the entire stay abroad.
In the case of insurance periods longer than 3 months, you are also insured for medical expenses in your home country, and for luggage on the journey there and back, during a one-off visit home. This visit is limited to a maximum of 21 days.
Leisure Cover
The language policy will also cover you during your leisure travel prior to or after your participation in the language course. There is a limit however of one month to this period. If you are traveling for a longer period you can take out a normal Iati travel insurance.
For whom?
This policy is intended especially for people who go abroad to do a language course at a language school. This includes people who go for a few weeks, but also people who go for a whole year. The main condition is that a course fee has been paid.
